Ideas to add a pop of color to your home

Ever feel like your home needs a bit of new flare? New paint and adding few furniture pieces are great and affordable way to add new life to a room. Remember… don’t be afraid of trying a new color – paint is just paint, and can always be changed! Take a look at this bright orange wall. It adds a much needed color pop between the neutral colors.

Although a bold color adds that kick you may be looking for, don’t feel like you must go BOLD or go home! Whether it’s a bold orange or even a soft gray, paint can add that boost that you have been looking for. When paired with the right art, furniture and accessories, a softly painted room can be just as eye-catching.

For instance, take a look at this living room done in the lightest shade of gray. Even though the color is subdued, the rich carpet, bight lamp and detailed painting add the much needed pop to lift this room.
