What a difference a large-scale textile makes! This is the living room from one of our recently completed projects. See the before and after of the same living room with and without the rug and window treatment. Or interior designer used these two items to complete the room; adding luxury to the space and making it warm and inviting!
Using stripes to add visual interest to a space is a great interior design tool. For the kitchen in this Austin, TX residence our Interior Designer thought the stripes on the island would be a chance to infuse the room with a contemporary visual accent; and make the island a feature piece in the space.
Here are some other great examples of stripes as visual accents. Sometimes the stripes are loud and proud; and other times they play a quiet background role, becoming almost a neutral.
Please see Company C for interior design products that are well made, with a colorful, eclectic, but sophisticated style. Company C is one of our interior designers’ favorite go-to companies for our color-loving, eclectically or transitionally inclined clients. The textile patterns are unique, bold, and bright. Company C also does custom upholstery, so interior designers can easily select a sofa or side chair style and then pair it with any of their beautiful fabrics.
Here’s an interior design bedroom scheme we chose from Company C’s great selection of bedding, rugs, furniture, and accessories. We love the combination of traditional and contemporary patterns.
