Fall 2013’s Hottest Color: Paprika

There has definitely been a rising trend in the last two years of using in every which way shades of orange and corals. Perhaps beginning with the release of Pantone’s 2012 color of the year: ‘Tangerine Tango’ designers and fashionistas everywhere fell in love with this red/orange mix and every shade therein it’s family. But despite Pantone’s official chosen color for 2013 ‘Emerald’,  professionals everywhere including HGTV agree that the hottest color for fall is a more rich and vibrant version of Spring’s coral – and it’s Paprika. It’s warm blend of red and orange is perfectly fresh and updated for this year, yet is an ancient element of the outdoors upon arrival of the cool breezes. (You will find it in gorgeous maple leaves and delicious seasonal Persimmons.) Without further ado, a few inspirational products and designs using this fun, spicy color. Enjoy!
